Feeling adventurous? Then let’s go kayaking in a one- or two-person inflatable kayak on the fun and not-too-scary Class II+ rapids of the beautiful Weber River!
We offer well-maintained equipment, easy instruction, and a wide variety of kayak tours ranging from half-day to full-day trips. We also offer combo trips that include fly fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking, or golf. Guided river kayak trips are appropriate for people with intermediate river kayaking skills or better.
If you do not meet the minimum skills requirement, then a private river kayaking lesson is in order. Our private river kayaking lessons last for one to three hours and will be customized to fit your skill level and expectations.
For safety and comfort during casual river kayaking, we use and recommend inflatable kayaks (a.k.a. I.K.s or duckies) that are whitewater rated. For your selection, we offer a variety of makes and styles of inflatable kayaks, including Aire, Tributary, and Vanguard.
Is river kayaking suitable for young children?
Ages 12 and over are welcome, provided they are accompanied by an adult and have prior river kayaking experience, or they can complete a private lesson with us. Special arrangements can be made for younger children to sit in the front of a tandem kayak with a guide for an additional $100 fee, or with an experienced kayaker in your group. Let’s discuss the details if this is something you want to do.
