Morgan County is Northern Utah’s best kept secret. This beautiful river valley in the Wasatch Back is skirted by majestic mountains and deep rocky canyons with outcrops that expose millions of years of geological wonder. Morgan County is primarily privately owned property, which has maintained large swaths of wild open spaces where habitat and wildlife flourish in the upland high desert, sub-alpine, and riparian corridor ecosystems. The Weber River and its tributaries of Lost Creek and East Canyon Creek run right through the heart of Morgan and are ranked at the top of Utah’s Blue-Ribbon Fisheries. The Weber River and its class II+ whitewater offers the best rafting and kayaking in northern Utah, and some extreme whitewater tubing as well. New additions to Destination Sports’ lineup include guided rafting and kayaking trips that are exclusively in Morgan County, paddling from Croydon or Taggart all the way through Round Valley into Morgan, and gear rentals at our new store on Commercial Street. For Morgan’s fine youth, we offer Youth Lake Kayaking Club and Teen River Kayaking Club! Hiking, Snowshoeing, Clydesdale horse-drawn wagon and sleigh rides, fly fishing, and ice fishing are also new additions to our lineup of guided activities available in Morgan County. Through partnerships with private property owners and Utah State Parks’ lands, we bring hikers, snowshoers, and anglers to experience pristine terrain while avoiding the crowds.
