Privately guided hiking tours: Choose from public trails in Park City and Morgan, or for a more exclusive experience, a private ranch tour in the Uinta Mountains or Morgan!
Morgan Valley Private Working Ranch Trails – Red sandstone cliffs are not only reserved for Southern Utah. Northern Utah has its fair share, and this private working ranch in Lost Creek lets you get up close and personal with their majesty, along with the local family-style sheep and cattle ranching culture.
Public lands trails include the historic Pony Express and Mormon Pioneer trail, and other hidden gems.
Park City, Salt Lake City, Davis, and Weber County Public Trails – Experience the beauty of Park City, Utah, and further north in the Wasatch Mountains while hiking through the high desert foothills or subalpine forests and canyons. Depending on your lodging location and where you’d like to go, your guide can customize a trail selection just for you that might take you past historical mining sites that used to be the economic foundation of this mountainside town, near ski slopes, to waterfall canyons, or to the wide open protected wildlife habitat spaces in the area.

Hiking is one of the most popular year-round sports in the Park City area and beyond.

Hiking poles are included with all guided tours. Your guide will also provide water bottles and snack bars.
All you have to do is show up wearing comfortable hiking clothing layers appropriate for the mountain weather, and comfortable hiking shoes and socks. Good quality socks, such as Smartwool or other hiking-specific socks, are strongly recommended for comfort and to prevent blisters.
Prevent sunburn! Bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
Our hiking tours normally last 2 hours. Let us know if you’d like to schedule a longer tour for an added fee.
All guided tours are private. Due to varying abilities, we do not mix groups.
Trail location is subject to change, at the guide’s discretion, due to weather, and based on where you are staying, and what transportation options are available to you. If you do not have transportation, please call us to discuss the options before booking. We can include transportation if we select a trail close to your lodging location. If you want to hike more than 15 minutes away from your lodging location, then we can add transportation for a fee.
Do not plan on using Uber or Lyft, as most of our preferred trial locations are remote.
Your guide will contact you at least one day before your tour to discuss the trail selection and meeting location.

Is this suitable for young children?
Yes, as the trips are designed for the abilities of all participants in your group. This makes for a great family activity.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing layers, depending on the weather. The weather can change quickly in the mountains.

Private trips for one person are available at the price of 2 people.
Transportation is available for an extra charge.
The weather in the mountains changes frequently and is normally different than the weather in town. Dress in layers, prepared for the most extreme.
How cold will it be? Consult the local weather forecast posted in the media, but keep in mind that the weather can vary widely from the valleys to the higher mountain elevations.
There may or may not be restrooms available, depending on the selected hiking location.
