SNOWSHOEING – PRIVATE RANCH TOUR IN THE UINTA MOUNTAINS

Private Ranch Snowshoeing Tours in the Uinta Mountains are a great way to avoid the crowds and explore beautiful new terrain. Experience the serenity of nature while having a blast with your friends and family. Quiet, peaceful, and stunning scenery, but don’t let that fool you…this is an appetite builder too. Great for the whole family and any skill level.

North Forty Escapes at the historic Stillman Ranch in the Uintas east of Oakley: 10,000 acres of alpine forest along a spring-fed stream, thick with aspen and pine trees.

Round-trip transportation to the Stillman Ranch from Park City, Heber Valley, Provo, Salt Lake Valley, Davis, Ogden Valley, and Morgan Valley is available with a 6-person minimum, or the cost thereof for smaller groups, for an added fee of $35-$45 per person, depending on the pickup location.  You can add transportation to your booking by replying to your tour booking confirmation email with your request and pickup location information.

Please note* Sometimes one location will have good snow, while another lacks good conditions.
We’ll contact you to discuss details if we have concerns about the current conditions or location.

Your guide will bring:

• Snowshoes (clips on over your winter hiking or walking boots)
• Poles
• Disposable water bottle (although we encourage you to bring your own reusable water bottle).
• Snack bar
• If needed, we have gore-tex overshoes to give you a waterproof layer to athletic shoes or other non-waterproof hiking shoes.

Your guide will contact you at least 1 day before your snowshoeing tour to provide the ranch and trailhead meeting location.
