When you book with us, you get to choose from these locations for your snowshoeing adventure:
North Forty Escapes private ranch (a.k.a. Stillman Ranch) in Oakley: Snowshoe where most don’t get to go and enjoy your tour on a private ranch in the Uinta Mountains. Get up close and personal with alpine forests of aspen trees and cottonwoods, and spring-fed mountain streams of the Weber River Canyon.
This property is about a 40-minute drive from Park City.
Morgan Valley Private Working Ranch Trails – Red sandstone cliffs are not only reserved for Southern Utah. Northern Utah has its fair share, and this private working ranch in Lost Creek lets you get up close and personal with their majesty along with the local family-style sheep and cattle ranching culture.
Park City and Weber County Public Trails – Experience the beauty of Park City, Utah, and further north in the Wasatch Mountains while snowshoeing through the high desert foothills or subalpine forests and canyons. Depending on snow levels, your trail might take you past historical mining sites that used to be the economic foundation of this mountainside town, near ski slopes, or to the wide open protected wildlife habitat spaces in the area.

Destination Sports gear rental pickup location is 103 N. Commercial Street in Morgan. This is a convenient location for do-it-yourselfers passing through Morgan, heading out to the Wasatch and Uinta Mountains.

Snowshoes and pole rentals are included with all guided tours. Your guide will also provide water bottles and snack bars.
All you have to do is show up wearing warm, winter clothing layers, and snow boots that are comfortable for hiking. Good quality socks such as wool, hiking, or ski socks are strongly recommended for comfort, warmth, and preventing blisters.
If you don’t have appropriate winter hiking boots available, standard hiking boots would be the next best option. If athletic shoes are your best option, let us know and we’ll pack a pair of Gore-Tex over shoes and gators to give you a waterproof later and help keep your little toes warm and comfortable.
The snowshoeing and hiking tours normally last 2 hours. Let us know if you’d like to schedule a longer tour for an added fee.
All guided tours are private. Due to varying abilities, we do not mix groups.
(Tour location is subject to change, at the guide’s discretion, due to weather and snow conditions. Your guide will contact you at least by the day before your tour if the snow conditions are better at a location other than where you selected.)

Is this suitable for young children?
Yes, as the trips are designed for the abilities of all participants in your group. This makes for a great family activity.
What should I wear?
Warm layered clothing (ski clothing works great) warm boots, hats, and gloves are a must.
What should I bring?
Sunglasses, small backpack, sunscreen, lip balm, and any personal Items you may want.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes, on all tours. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and their waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
What else should I know?
Trip times may be customized to accommodate your group.
Specialized trips are also available upon request.
Private trips for one person are available at the price of 2 people.
Transportation is available for an extra charge.
The weather in the mountains changes frequently and is normally different than the weather in town. Dress in layers, prepared for the most extreme.

There may or may not be restrooms available, depending on the selected hiking location.
