MORGAN UTAH TUBE RENTAL
RATES
- $10 per tube
- $5 per life jacket
- $5 for a pump
Tubes come deflated so you can fit them in a smaller vehicle or car. If you need one, be sure to also rent a pump to take with you so you can “show up and blow up”!
GEAR PICK-UP TIME
Check out your reserved rental gear at 103 N. Commercial Street in Morgan any time after 9:00 am on your rental day.
RETURN TIME
Return rental gear by closing time – 5:00 pm – on the same rental day.
Any rental gear kept overnight will be charged an additional day rental fee.
*The credit/debit card used to pay for your reservation will be used to pay for any equipment loss or damages. Renter will be notified prior to any loss or damage charges.
WHERE TO GO TUBING
If you are not experienced at navigating the Weber River on a tube on your own, or if you have a group with varying ages or abilities, then going in a raft with a guide is the safest way to experience the Weber River for your first time. ~Mild for Beginners~
- Nearby lakes and reservoirs include East Canyon State Park, Lost Creek State Park, Echo State Park, Pineview Reservoir and Causey Reservoir.
- Weber River right in Morgan, just a little ways upstream from the Fairgrounds is calm but moving class I flatwater. This is where the Morgan Regatta takes place. But please be aware of the legal public access locations, as well as the no-trespassing private properties and the dangerous diversion structures in the river that should be avoided.
When you come in to pick up your gear, we can give you some pointers.
~Intermediate or more advanced~
- Tubing the popular “Hen-Tag” reach of the Weber River, which is a class II+ whitewater reach, can be very challenging and dangerous for people who are inexperienced. It is physically demanding and not suitable for children (who are too small to reach over and paddle with their hands) or as a general guideline, for people over 250 pounds (who end up being top heavy, causing the tube to flip more easily).
- Utah law requires that life jackets be worn and securely fastened at all times while floating the river.
- Reservations are required.
- River Tubes are not designed for technical maneuvering on challenging rivers. Kayaks and rafts with paddles and experienced guides are better suited for that use.
Due to safety issues, diversion dams, trespassing and garbage issues, we are no longer offering tube rentals, unguided trip launches, or shuttle service for unguided trips from our Henefer location.
